ABOUT
The Dr. Richard E. Peter Biology Conference is an annual celebration of research hosted by the Biological Sciences Graduate Student Association that showcases the diverse experiments conducted by Biological Sciences and Life Sciences students at the University of Alberta, as well as institutions across the province. The event consists of poster and oral presentations by senior undergraduate, M.Sc. and Ph.D. students, workshops, keynote lectures from distinguished professors, social events, and a mini-market. The entire conference is FREE to attend, with multiple chances to win an array of prizes including a 50-50 draw. This year's event also features a focus on sustainability, with a special appearance from the Sustainability Council!
We respectfully acknowledge that the R.E. Peter Biology Conference is located on Treaty 6 territory, a traditional gathering place for diverse Indigenous peoples including the Cree, Blackfoot, Metis, Nakota Sioux, Iroquois, Dene, Ojibway / Saulteaux / Anishinaabe, Inuit, and many others whose histories, languages, and cultures continue to enrich our vibrant community.
